History
The name “Force” you want to derive from “gallows” because it is located between the Aso valley, that of the Tesino and Tronto. The settlement dates back to the fifth century A.D. because of the barbarian invasions the peoples of neighboring countries they found shelter on its strategic position from a defensive point of view. Very important is the processing of copper it seems to have been rooted by the monks Farfensi or gypsy tribes who settled in forcese territory. The language that these artisans have developed is the “Baccagliamento Forcese”, language which is no longer spoken.
Monuments and points of interest
- Cottage Verrucci: special construction that is outside the boundaries of the country, did eregere by the architect around 1936.
- Convent of the Blessed Maria Assunta Pallotta is the birthplace of the blessed, where today there are the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary, order to which belonged the Blessed Assunta Pallotta.
